  9. Use WinVN 0.82 instead. IMHO, it is a newsreader superior to WinQVTNEt.
  10. I use WinQVTNET for ftp and telnet only.

  36. Precisely because of your last sentence is why the executable should always 
  37. stay the same name. The ZIP file's name should be changed to reflect the new 
  38. version, obviously, but that is not needed in the EXE itself. If the EXE is 
  39. placed on a file server with multiple people pointing to it, now everyone of 
  40. them will have to change whereas before, simply overwriting the file is 
  41. enough. Of course, it isn't a big deal to just rename the file back to 
  42. WINTALK.EXE which is what I'll do.

  77. You don't even need it for ftp or telnet.  Use ws_ftp and trmptel instead, both of
  78. which are superior to qvtnet.  WS_FTP can be obtained from the cica site, and
  79. trmptel from ftp.utas.edu.au.

  81. Qvtnet is just too buggy - something is always wrong with each new version that
  82. came out, including 3.97.
